SERANG - The Narcotics Investigation Unit (Satresnarkoba) of the Serang Police arrested two methamphetamine drug dealers in his rented house, Drangong Village, Taktakan District, Serang City.Kasatresnarkoba AKP Michael K Tandaya said the two perpetrators had the initials ASP (35) and FW (29) who were residents of Serang City and Cilegon City, Banten."The two suspects were arrested at their rented house in the early hours of Monday while chatting after attaching their consumer orders of methamphetamine," he said in Serang, Banten, as reported by Antara, Monday, October 2.Of the two suspected dealers, said Michael, officers confiscated evidence in the form of four packages of methamphetamine and two cellphones used as means of drug transactions."We confiscated four packages of methamphetamine. Two packages were found in rented houses, while the other two packages of methamphetamine were from the location where consumer bookings were placed," he said.Michael explained that the arrests of these two methamphetamine drug dealers were a follow-up to public information. From this information and the Narcotics Task Force team immediately carried out an in-depth information."So, initially, there was information from the public who suspected the two suspects were dealers. From that information, the officers then investigated the information and made arrests of the suspects," he said.His party said that when the two suspects were arrested, they did not fight back. The suspect and the evidence were finally taken to the Police Headquarters for examination.From the results of the examination, it was revealed that the methamphetamine sold was obtained from RA, which is currently in the search for people (OPD) who are referred to as residents of Cilegon City. However, the two suspects did not know where he lived because transactions were carried out on the streets."The evidence of methamphetamine was admitted by the two suspects to have been obtained from RA, a resident of Cilegon. This business has been going on for six months both of them were forced to sell methamphetamine because they were unemployed and tempted by profits," he said.
As a result of his actions, ASP and FW were charged with Article 114 Paragraph (2) Juncto Article 132 Paragraph (1) Subsidiary Article 112 Paragraph (2), Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 Year 2009, concerning Narcotics with a minimum penalty of five years in prison.
