This is the Cause of Pertamina Increasing the Price of Non-subsidized Fuel
JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) will adjust fuel prices on October 1 2023.
Price increase for fuel sold at Pertamina gas stations such as Pertamax, Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, Pertamina Dex, and Pertamax Green 95.
Regarding the increase in non-subsidized fuel prices, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Irto Ginting explained that price adjustments refer to the average Means of Platts Singapore (MOPS) in the period of August 25, 2023 to September 24, 2023.
"This new price applies to provinces with a motor vehicle fuel tax (PBBKB) of 5 percent, such as in the DKI Jakarta area," said Irto to journalists, Monday 2 October.
He continued, Pertamina's fuel price changes take into account various aspects, including MOPS/Argus published price trends and the exchange rate, so that it can ensure the continuity of fuel supply and distribution to all corners of the country.
"Pertamina product prices are still competitive compared to other companies for products of equal quality and these prices have met the upper limit provisions for the October 2023 period set for each type of fuel," explained Irto.
For information, the price of Pertamax fuel has officially increased to IDR 14,000 per liter from the September period when it was sold at IDR 13,300 per liter for the DKI Jakarta area.
