Japanese MotoGP, Which Is Always Special In The Eyes Of Marc Marquez
JAKARTA - The 14th MotoGP 2023 series will be held in Japan this weekend starting September 29 - October 1. The race at the Motegi Circuit was greeted with enthusiasm by Marc Marquez who said that the Japanese MotoGP was always special for him.
Because this race became a moment to appear in front of supporters where his team came from. As is known, Repsol Honda is a factory team based in Japan.
"(The circuit) Motegi has always been a special race, especially if you are a Honda racer," said Marc Marquez, quoted from GPOne, Wednesday, September 27.
So far, Marquez and Honda still haven't achieved a good result. Their best achievement was when Joan Mir finished fifth in India's MotoGP main race last weekend.
Marquez could actually compete among the leading riders in MotoGP India 2023. But unfortunately he crashed and slipped to 19th position.
Actually, Marquez has already felt the podium. However, it was in the sprint of the MotoGP Portugal and India.
Reflecting on the current inconsistent score, Marquez then hopes that appearing in MotoGP Japan can be his own spirit. With the support and sweet memories of the past, this Spaniard hopes to present something special.

Although this Japanese MotoGP is a special series for Marquez because of the support of fans. But he also didn't want to be happy, he realized that adaptation was still needed on the circuit that he was familiar with.
"It's fun to be able to give fans a reason to encourage us. Conditions in Motegi can change frequently. So, we have to adapt throughout the weekend," said Marquez.
"But, our overall goal remains the same: to continue to grow and achieve the best possible results," he said.
