Monitoring The Graves Of 45 Unmaintained Fighters In Karet Bivak, Grass And Drying Land
JAKARTA - A number of 45 warrior tombs located in the Karet Bivak Islamic TPU Unit Block, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta were seen unmanaged. Ahmad Syafe'i, one of the tomb visitors, explained that the tomb marked by an iron stake in the form of a red and white flag with a small sign that reads 'Fight 45' is the grave of a former 1945 fighter who died in winning Indonesia's independence. However, according to Syafei, she is not a big pahlwan figure.
"The one with the flag is the tomb of the 45 fighters, but not a great hero. He was only a fighter who fought and died in the 1945 era," said Ahmad Syafe'i, to VOI at the Karet Bivak TPU location, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Friday, September 22.
A number of these tombs are scattered in a number of Blads in the Karet Bivak TPU Islamic Unit Block. However, of the many graves of the 45 fighters, none of the 45 warrior graves were seen with special care.
"Yes, a lot of grass dried up and died. The soil was also cracked to dry up," he said.
Almost on average, the 45 warrior's graves looked neglected. The intake at the tomb of the tomb looks yellow and drys out.
The damage to the tomb of the 45 fighters also varied. Starting from the damage to the iron stakes in the form of red and white flags, plants and fire in the tomb of the tomb. Damage is almost visible at all points of the tomb of the 45 fighters at the Karet Bivak TPU.

"This is the tomb of the 45 fighters, indeed there is little attention from the government. If the tomb of the great hero is here too, Husni Thamrin's grave which has a large stone is in the middle there. In Blad here, there is only the tomb of the 45 fighters," he said.
Meanwhile, according to funeral nurses at the Karet Bivak TPU, his party only takes care of the watering of the tomb which is only noticed by the family or there is an order for tomb maintenance.
"It's watered. But if the condition is like this (damped) it's usually not taken care of by the family (the owner of the grave). So it's not maintained," he said.
It should be noted that the maintenance of a number of graves at the Karet Bivak TPU is the authority of the Central Jakarta City Parks and Forests Sub-department.
