Nissan Launches Latest Kicks But Lacks Changes
JAKARTA - Nissan has just launched an update to Kicks for the 2024 edition of the US market. The crossover is equipped with several refreshers.
The new model comes with three types, namely S, SV, and SR. Reporting from Carscoops, Tuesday, September 19, for trim SV and SR have NissanConnect features, which can open or lock the door, then can turn off the engine remotely via smartphone.
From the outside view, this new model has not changed, still adopting halogen headlights, rear plate brakes, and 16-inch steel rims.
The interior also has no privileges, even Nissan still relies on manual temperature controllers with the middle armband as optional. However, that doesn't mean the Kicks cabin looks bad.
This compact-sized crossover has a 7-inch infotainment display, a Cruise Control feature, a power window, and an audio system of six speakers. This car also comes with a tiny rear seat, but still leaves a footspace of up to 848 mm.
Driver assistance features are also available at the latest Nissan Kicks, namely Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking, Lane Departure Warning. Blind Spot Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
Slightly different from the initial two variants, the SR type has a disc brake with 17-inch alloy rims. The model also has additional components of body color, roof rail, and most LED light units.
The interior for this trim is still far from the word "luxury" because its facilities include a center console and a lit makeup glass. However, Kicks SR has been equipped with an automatic temperature controller, a leather steering wheel, and a 7-inch display on the instrument cluster. Other things that need to be highlighted include an 8-inch infotainment system and Intelligent Cruise Control.
