Majene Police Arrest Perpetrators Of Cross-Provincial Theft
MaMUJU - Majene Regency Police, West Sulawesi (Sulbar), arrested the perpetrators of motor vehicle theft (curanmor) across provinces.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Majene Police, AKP Budi Adi, said that the perpetrator of cross-provincial theft initials AR (33) was arrested by the Resmob Satreskrim unit of the Majene Police.
He said the AR perpetrator was arrested after being involved in theft in the Rangas Tamalassu neighborhood, Banggae District, Majene Regency.
"In addition to taking away the black Yamaha Nmax two-wheeled vehicle, the perpetrator also took the victim's cellphone," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 19.
In carrying out the action, the perpetrator used a ignition key, and took the stolen vehicle away to the Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi Province.
"The police who received the victim's report then gave chase and the perpetrator was arrested at his residence in Galesong District, Takalar Regency," he said.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit said that based on the results of the interrogation carried out by the perpetrators, it was the perpetrators of cross-provincial theft.
"The perpetrator has admitted his actions and has been secured to the Majene Police Headquarters for further investigation," he said.
From the perpetrators confiscated evidence of a black Yamaha Nmax motorcycle with the police number DC 3786.
The perpetrator was charged with Article 362 of the Criminal Code, with a maximum imprisonment of seven years.
