Not Just Brazil Argentina, Kadin Aims For Expansion To Caribbean Countries Cs
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) stated that it is currently being intensively explored by the expansion of trade cooperation with strategic partners in the Caribbean and South America.
This was conveyed directly by the Chairman of Kadin Shinta Kamdani during a press conference in Jakarta.
According to Shinta, this kind of assessment effort is considered very important to open new market share other than traditional countries such as Brazil and Argentina.
"So, we don't just see Brazil or Argentina because they are a big country, not necessarily like that. Caribbean countries are also important. Even though he is smaller, the opportunity could be greater," he said when met in Jakarta, Monday, September 18.
Shinta explained that this positive signal was obtained from the willingness of local entrepreneurs to be able to cooperate with Indonesian business actors.
"So this is where we need to map to be able to target the right business because we also can't open ourselves up to everyone," he said.

On that basis, Shinta together with the Kadin team and the government are also preparing a roadmap to encourage what sectors are considered strategic to increase Indonesia's international trade.
We have to have local partners there. Why? Because they also need local partners here. This is what Kadin then encourages. This has been our homework (PR) together," he said.
