Black Cat Ora, Twin Of Ora 03 Appearing At GIIAS 2023 Enters Malaysian Market

JAKARTA - Great Wall Motors (GWM) is one of the largest car manufacturers from China that recently presented three sub-brands at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), namely Ora, Haval, and Tanks.

However, from the latest news, GWM intends to continue to expand its wings in the global market by launching several of its sub-brands to several countries. One of them is GWM making breakthroughs by increasing the model of Ora in the neighboring country.

It is known, so far the Ora Good Cat or Ora 03 is better known as an automotive lover, different from one brother who is not widely known, namely the Ora R1 or commonly called the Ora Black Cat.

Reporting from Paultan, Thursday, September 14, Ora Black Cat is rumored to be entering the Malaysian market after being on the list of data pages.gov.my belonging to the Malaysian Department of Statistics, which was previously registered in 2022.

Ora R1 is plotted as an EV at an affordable price suitable for use in urban areas. The hatchback-type car has a tiny dimension of 3,495 mm long, 1,660 mm wide, 1,560 mm high, and 2.475 mm wheelbase.

Slightly different from his brother, Ora R1 has a sweet design that is quite familiar from Honda e electric cars. The exterior of this car has round lights like open eyes with a slightly brainy shape. Ora R1 also has a "funky" concept with a very contrasting color selection.

Talking about the runway, this car has an electric motorbike of 48 dk and a torque of 125 Nm which allows the cute car to go up to a speed of 102 km/hour.

Meanwhile, regarding batteries, the R1 Ora is equipped with internal power of 33 kWh which is able to make the car go up to 301 km in the NEDC cycle.

As an illustration, his brother GWM Ora 03 has a design slightly larger than R1, with a length of 4,235 mm, a width of 1,825 mm, a height of 1,596 mm, and a ground clearance of 145 mm.

This car carries a five-door hatchback style with one front-driven electric motor that produces 143 dk of power and 230 Nm of torque. The battery with a capacity of 47.8 kWh lithium-ion is able to carry this car up to 400 km.

The exact price of this car has not been announced, but it is predicted that GWM Ora 03 will be present at the Indonesian automotive market next year.
