Secretary General Of Gerindra Calls Elections A Modern Way Of Democracy, Reminds Political Krama
JAKARTA - Secretary General (Secretary General) of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani said that the current general election (election) is a modern way of democracy in a change of leadership.
Muzani gave an example of how past democracy in changing leadership tends to use violence and bloodshed, such as war or a coup.
"Therefore, the struggle for power by placing representatives of political parties through this general election is a modern way that we agree on," he said, quoted by ANTARA from a written statement, Wednesday, September 13.
He conveyed this when giving material in "The Discussion Forum for Diversity Becomes A Force to Realize A Dignityful Election" in Bandung, West Java.
Muzani again conveyed the commitment of the presidential candidate from the Forward Indonesia Coalition Prabowo Subianto to unity and integrity, for the sake of the nation and state.
Muzani is optimistic that next year's election can run in dignity.

He believes this is because he sees the development of active social media users providing input, criticism, and reminding parties who have the potential to disrupt national political stability.
"Currently, if someone is considered to have left the corridor that can damage manners in the use of social media, then netizens will remind other netizens," he added.
Muzani also guaranteed that the elite currently has good awareness to jointly maintain national unity and conduciveness.
"For each winning team, we ask to inform all Indonesian people that this program, victory is Indonesia's victory," he said.
