Sri Mulyani Allocates PMN of IDR 42.8 Trillion in the 2023-2024 State Budget

JAKARTA – Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani conveyed the allocation of state capital participation (PMN) of IDR 42.8 trillion to a number of State-owned Enterprises (BUMN). According to the Minister of Finance, these funds are allocated to the 2023 State Budget (APBN) and also the 2024 APBN which is currently still under discussion with the House of Representatives (DPR).

"This cash PMN was given to five BUMNs," she said in a working meeting with Commission XI of the DPR on Tuesday, September 12.

The Minister of Finance explained that the first disbursement of state money received by PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (SMF) amounted to IDR 1.5 trillion. The plan is that the money will be used to support House Ownership Credits (KPR) distributors with Housing Financing Liquidity Facilities (FLPP) in a portion of 25 percent to finance 220,000 housing units for low-income people.

"Secondly, IDR 28.8 trillion to Hutama Karya which will be used for the completion of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) phase I and phase II on the Betung-Tempino-Jambi section and the Pekanbaru Junction-Pekanbaru Bypass section," she said.

Third, to PT Len Industri in the amount of IDR 1.7 trillion to build and increase production capacity for radars, aircraft, ships, ammunition, medium tanks and combat vehicles. Four, PMN to State Electricity Company or PLN with a value of IDR 10 trillion.

"This will be used by PLN for the development of electricity infrastructure in the generation, transmission, substation and distribution sectors, including the implementation of the Village Electricity Program and renewable energy generation (EBT)," she said.

Then the fifth is the Indonesian Aviation Navigation Service Organizing Agency (LPPNPI) or commonly called Airnav Indonesia amounting to IDR 659.1 billion. The funds are used to rejuvenate navigation equipment to ensure flight safety.

"And also for the need to ensure the availability of aviation navigation facilities," continued the Minister of Finance.
