PDIP Semarang Respects The Legal Process Of The Cadre Beating Case By The Former Chair Of Gerindra Semarang
The PDI-P Branch Leadership Council (DPC) of Semarang City respects the legal process for the alleged beating of one of its cadres by the former chairman of the Gerindra Party DPC Semarang City.
"With the incident that occurred yesterday, just wait for the results in the realm of law. We will submit them there (police)," said Secretary of the PDI-P DPD Kadarlusman in Semarang as reported by ANTARA, Monday, September 11.
Pilus, Kadarlusman's nickname, said this when responding to the alleged beating that befell one of the PDI-P cadres due to the problem of installing the political party flag.
Because it is in the criminal realm, he said, the case has been reported to the police along with evidence, visas, and so on so that the PDI-P DPC is just waiting for the legal process.
"Our job as administrators of the DPC (PDI-P) is to reduce so that our friends are not provoked, there is no movement, no action. For legal proceedings, we do not want to interfere," he said.
According to him, what is certain is that his party will continue to provide assistance to victims and families in dealing with the ongoing legal process, including when receiving treatment at the hospital and reporting to the police.
"As DPC, we provide encouragement, motivation, assistance to the victim as a PDI-P cadre. His family was also accompanied. From the party, there was legal assistance as well," he said.
Pilus, who is also the Chairman of the Semarang City Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), explained that the victim had also returned from the hospital and his condition was quite healthy. However, the legal process is still ongoing.
When asked about the communication between the PDI-P DPC and the Semarang City Gerindra Party DPC regarding the matter, he said as far as he knew there was no such thing.
Likewise with the report to the Honorary Board of the Semarang City DPRD because the former chairman of the Gerindra DPC is also a representative of the people, Pilus said that until now no reports have been submitted.
