Gejolak Harga Komoditas Mendominasi Pembahasan RAPBN 2024
JAKARTA The government and the DPR this week are known to continue discussing the 2024 State Budget Bill. Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani as a government representative revealed that the completion of the 2024 State Budget posture was covered by very high dynamics and economic changes, especially in terms of commodities.
The commodity prices that have decreased drastically since the beginning of the year (year to date/ytd) are coal (minus 61 percent), nickel (minus 31.8 percent) and palm oil or CPO (minus 10 percent). Meanwhile, oil rose by around 10 percent has approached 90 US dollars per barrel," he said in a written statement, Friday, September 8.
According to the Minister of Finance, this movement and changes will certainly affect the calculation of the 2024 RAPBN. In our meeting last day, it was stated that the Budget Agency (Banggar) and the government approved several changes.
"Tax receipts and non-tax state revenues (PNBP) increased by Rp. 21 trillion. Expenditures will be discussed next week in the Working Committee including to increase the compensation/subsidy budget," he said.

The Minister of Finance ensured that the discussion process for the 2024 RAPBN was transparent and very constructive. He said, the government and all factions of the DPR agreed that the 2024 State Budget was very strategic to achieve the development targets and objectives and implementation of the national important agenda.
"This includes the implementation of the 2024 election, the elimination of extreme poverty and stunting, continuing the development of IKN, improving the quality of human resources and creating job opportunities and maintaining the momentum of economic recovery in the face of weakening the global economy and geopolitical uncertainty/fragmentation," explained Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani.
