The Ministry Of PUPR Plans To Open Early Tender For The 2024 FY In October
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) plans to carry out early tenders for all work packages at the ministry for the 2024 Fiscal Year (TA) in October 2023.
"Based on the e-monitoring data related to the progress of the 2024 FY tender or early selection, 1,566 packages have been identified," said Director General of Construction at the Ministry of PUPR Rachman Arief Dienaputra in a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission V DPR in Jakarta, quoted Thursday, September 7.
Rachman said the opening of the 2024 FY early tender which will be held in October 2023, was to accelerate the progress of work at the Ministry of PUPR.
He said, of the 1,566 packages that had been recorded as of September 4, 2023, most were at the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Highways with a total of 956 work packages.
The Directorate General of Water Resources (SDA) with a total of 470 packages, continued by the Directorate General of Human Settlements with 115 packages, Secretariat General, Itjen, BPSDM, BPIW, and Polytechnic (SIBPP) 23 packages, and the Directorate General of Housing 2 packages.
"This data will continue to grow, both in terms of packages and the number of procurements or in terms of procurement," he said.
In addition to the tender package, Rachman said the PUPR Ministry would also open a non-tender package for FY 2024 through an electronic catalog or e-catalog with a total number of 577 packages.
Of this number, said Rachman, the Directorate General of Highways still dominates with 426 non-tender packages, 74 packages of Directorate General of Natural Resources, 53 packages of Directorate General of Human Settlements, 8 packages of Housing, and 16 packages of SIBPP.

For your information, the Ministry of PUPR received a budget ceiling of Rp. 146.98 trillion for the 2024 FY.
PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said the budget in 2024 would be focused on completing priority infrastructure development.
The development of priority infrastructure, such as the completion of the National Strategic Program (PSN) and priority activities through multi-year contracts or MYC, the implementation of the OPOR program (Operation, Maintenance, Optimization, and Rehabilitation), as well as the implementation of the President's directive, including market development, regional roads, drinking water, and schools.
