Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train Tariff Proposed IDR 250,000, KCIC Boss: Not Including Feeders

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) proposed a ticket price for the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train of IDR 250,000 for business class.

However, this proposed tariff does not include the cost of the feeder train (KA).

For your information, the feeder train is a train that will carry passengers on the Jakarta Bandung high-speed train from Padalarang Station to the city center of Bandung.

KCIC President Director Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi said the proposed ticket proposed by KCIC of IDR 250,000 is the price for grade two or business.

The Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train itself has three classes, namely the premium economy, business, and first class or the main class.

"That's what we propose IDR 250,000 not yet (including Feeder Train tickets)," he said when met at the DPR Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, September 4.

Currently, continued Dwiyana, KCIC is discussing a ticket purchase bundling scheme. The goal is to make it easier for passengers and increase user mobility.

"Again discussed with KAI and the Ministry of Transportation, we hope it will bundling. So that passengers can quickly make a transaction if necessary, LRT, Fast Train, and Feeder," he said.

Dwiyana also ensured that the feeder train prepared to connect Padalarang Station with Bandung City would be more comfortable and different from local trains.

"This (feeder) is different (with local trains), right? The economy. We are a special feeder, the class is above the economy," he said.
