JAKARTA - Acting Head of the DKI Jakarta Public Housing and Settlement Area (PRKP), Retno Sulistyaningrum, said that the collapse of the roof of the building in Block C Rusunawa Marunda, North Jakarta, was due to uninhabitable."According to the results of BRIN (National Research and Innovation Agency) research, the building is no longer feasible," said Retno when confirmed in Jakarta, Antara, Monday, September 4.Retno said that the roof or not of concrete in the C5 Rusunawa Marunda Block collapsed on Wednesday, August 30 at around 21.10 WIB, precisely at the location around the back (hall) yard.Residents of Block C Rusunawa Marunda, which recorded 451 Family Cards (KK), will be relocated to Rusunawa Nagrak in September 2023."On Thursday, August 31, 2023, it was socialized that residents were immediately transferred to the Nagrak Flats. Residents have also started to transport their goods gradually," said Retno.In addition, the Head of the Flats Management Unit (UPRS) II of the DKI Jakarta PRKP Service, Uye Yayat Dimyati, said that several building locations were also very dangerous.The socialization for the relocation was carried out in March 2022. However, it was delayed due to a spike in COVID-19 cases and the Nagrak Flat as a relocation site was used for the isolation of COVID-19 patients.
"Since last year we have 'plan' (sun), a resident who is partly difficult to move. Which is now more assertive because it prioritizes mental safety," said Uye.
