Until July 2023, WIKA Pockets New Contracts Worth IDR 15.41 Trillion
JAKARTA - PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk managed to pocket a new contract of IDR 15.41 trillion until July 2023.
This achievement also increased the order book obtained by the company to IDR 61.39 trillion.
The largest contribution to the acquisition of the new contract comes from the infrastructure and building segments of 40.70 percent. The rest, from the industrial segment, EPCC, and followed by reality and property.
In terms of employers, most of the projects achieved by the company come from the government and BUMN with a monthly progress payment scheme.
There are a number of projects that the company managed to obtain in July 2023, including the construction of the South Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) Toll Road Section 2 and SPAM Wososukas segments 2 and 4.
"The acquisition of this new contract proves that the company is still gaining the trust of the employers, because the company is still able to provide good performance and has been proven to have completed national strategic projects in recent times," said Wijaya Karya Corporate Secretary Mahendra Vijaya in his official statement, quoted Friday, September 1.
Mahendra said that Wijaya Karya's business continuity also went hand in hand with the empowerment of the UMK, which was reflected in the realization of payments for 1,314 partners.

Payments worth IDR 636.29 billion took place throughout August 2023 alone, of which IDR 198.86 billion was paid to 1,072 partners who are UMK.
"This payment proves that Wijaya Karya's business is currently still able to provide the company's ability to fulfill Wijaya Karya's commitments with its partners, so that the company maintains the trust of partners," said Mahendra.
This shows the company's transformation step which begins to bring results, in which the company's business activities are able to generate cash inflows.
"Wijaya Karya's move to prioritize payments to partners is based on the company's belief that the support provided by partners will have a positive impact on Wijaya Karya's business continuity," he concluded.
