Encourage Financial Literacy For Students, Bank DKI Participates The Peak Of Indonesia's Day Events To Save 2023 In Banten Province
JAKARTA - As a form of Bank DKI's support in encouraging increased financial literacy and saving activities for the community, especially students in Banten Province, Bank DKI participated in the Peak of the 2023 Indonesian Day Event in an event entitled Kreasi Bangkit Indonesia which was held in Tangerang, Banten on Wednesday, August 30.
The event, which was also attended by the Director of Retail & Sharia Bank DKI, Henky Oktavianus, was initiated by the Regional Financial Services Authority (OJK) Regional I DKI Jakarta and Banten by collaborating with relevant stakeholders, including Ministries / Institutions, Regional Governments, Banking Industry and other relevant stakeholders, in an effort to achieve literacy and financial inclusion targets.
Director of Technology & Operations of Bank DKI concurrently Acting (Plt.) President Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono on a separate occasion expressed the enthusiasm of Bank DKI to participate in the 2023 Saving Indonesia Day event.
"Financial literacy is key in shaping a strong financial future, and we are committed to supporting the community, especially students, in developing a better understanding of financial products so that it can help create a smarter generation financially," Amirul said in his statement, Thursday, August 31.
In its participation in a series of events that lasted during two days Wednesday and Thursday, August 30 and 31, 2023, Bank DKI focused on increasing financial literacy by providing education on financial products, including savings and other financial products, one of which was by holding talk shows with the theme "Study Fund Planning with Savings".

In addition, Bank DKI also supports the implementation of the One Account One Student Program (KEJAR) through SimPel/SimPel iB products which are now also owned by Bank DKI. Bank DKI Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi added that as a financial institution Bank DKI is also obliged to increase public financial understanding and access to formal financial products and services, especially among students.
"With full support for various Financial Services Authority programs, one of which is the KEJAR Program through SimPel/SimPel iB savings products, we are committed to becoming reliable partners in the financial journey of Indonesia's young generation," said Arie.
For information, Bank DKI also has student Monas/Monas iB savings products, as a choice of savings products for students, starting at SD/MI, SMP/MTs, SMA/MA or equivalent to the Student/I level, which is equipped with savings book facilities, ATMs and Mobile Banking (JakOne Mobile) features. This product is expected to make it easier for students to manage their finances from an early age, thus forming a positive saving habit from the start.
