Emission Test Tickets Will Be Implemented Tomorrow, Vehicles Violating Fines IDR 500 Thousand
JAKARTA - The ticketing in the vehicle emission test will be imposed on Friday, September 1. Two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles that violate or do not pass the emission test will be fined with a fine of hundreds of thousands.
"Tomorrow, according to the results of coordination with the Environment Agency, we will carry out law enforcement with a ticket related to the emission test," said Wadirlantas Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Doni Hermawan when confirmed, Thursday, August 31.
Later, vehicles that do not pass the emission test will be subject to fines in the form of fines ranging from IDR 250 thousand to IDR 500 thousand.
2-wheeled vehicles are subject to a fine of IDR 250 thousand. Meanwhile, 4-wheeled vehicles are IDR 500 thousand.
The amount of the fine is regulated in accordance with Article 285 Paragraph 1 and Article 276 of Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation (LLAJ).
"The ticket mechanism as usual, through a trial mechanism or payment of fines to banks," he said.

On the other hand, Doni said that in the trial that had been carried out since August 26, there were still many motorists whose vehicles did not pass the test. Therefore, the public is asked to carry out routine maintenance of their vehicles in order to pass the emission test.
"Indeed, from some results, the implementation of emission test activities carried out for several days, there are still many people who have not passed the test category," said Doni.
