Jambi Police Arrest Man Threatening To Spread Dating Exciting Videos
JAMBI - The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) of the Jambi Regional Police (Polda) arrested the perpetrator of the threat of distributing an exciting video belonging to a woman.
Head of Sub-Directorate V Cyber Crime Ditreskrimsus Jambi Police Commissioner Andi Purwanto said the police arrested a young man for allegedly threatening to disseminate the lover's exciting video.
"Feeling threatened by his lover and victim (HS) to make a report to the Jambi Police Headquarters to be followed up," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 30.
Based on the report made by his lover, the perpetrator named AA was also secured by the Jambi Police Ditreskrimsus.
The perpetrator was detained at the Jambi Police Headquarters detention center to account for his actions.
This incident began when on November 11, 2021, the victim and the perpetrator became acquainted and then underwent close relations and dared to invite the victim to sleep in the perpetrator's rented house in February 2023.
In that situation, the perpetrator carried out the action by taking a photo of the victim naked. The incident took place without the victim realizing it.
Then in March 2023 the victim was threatened and forced by the perpetrator to make immoral photos and videos. Where, the photos and videos must show the victim's body parts so that photos without clothes are not distributed.
Feeling afraid of the perpetrator's threat, the victim was forced to follow the perpetrator's wishes.

On August 15, 2023, the perpetrator asked the victim to have a relationship like a husband and wife in a rented house in Jambi City.
However, the victim did not want to obey the perpetrator's wishes, but the perpetrator continued to threaten to distribute photos and videos of victims who were naked to their friends and parents.
But the victim still did not want to follow the perpetrator's wishes. Then the victim was sent immoral photos through the victim's WhatsApp account.
For his actions, the perpetrator is suspected of Article 45 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 27 paragraph (1) of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning information and electronic transactions with a maximum penalty of 6 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 1 billion.
