Medan District Court Starts To Tried 3 Couriers Of 135 Kilograms Of Marijuana
The Medan District Court (PN), North Sumatra (North Sumatra), has begun to try three defendants in a case of carrying 135 kilograms of marijuana, namely the defendants Supriadi, Wily alias Wily and Arwanda Anggara.
"The three defendants Supriadi together with Wildan alias Wily and Arwanda Anggara (separate prosecution was carried out) who were couriers of marijuana with a total weight of 135 kilograms," said Public Prosecutor (JPU) of the Public Prosecutor's Office, Frianta Felix Ginting, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, August 28.
The prosecutor explained that the case was originally on Friday, May 26, 2023, Wildan met with Ali (under investigation) in Piding District, Gayo Lues Regency, Aceh.
"Ali offers workers to deliver marijuana at a salary of Rp. 30 million to be handed over to Alfi (under investigation) in Medan City," he said.
Felix said the two defendants from Aceh met Arwandadan Alfi to a warehouse on Jalan Tanjung Sari Medan Sunggal to provide the illicit goods with a total weight of 135 kilograms.
"Getting information from the public, North Sumatra Police Narcotics Directorate officers carried out raids at the location," he said.

When police officers made the arrest, Alfi fled, while the three defendants were secured along with evidence of marijuana weighing 135 kilograms.
The three defendants were charged with the primary indictment of Article 114 paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics and Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code or the subsidiary indictment of Article 111 paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.
