Central Sulawesi Police Alert 1,023 Security Personnel For President Jokowi's Kunker
Central Sulawesi Police have alerted 1,023 personnel for security in the context of a working visit (kunker) of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to Palu on Wednesday, August 30.
"The Central Sulawesi Police dispatched 1,023 personnel to secure the working visit of the President of the Republic of Indonesia in Palu, next Wednesday," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Police, Kombes Djoko Wienartono, in Palu, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 28.
He explained that the personnel involved in the security team had started attending the security rehearsal led by the Traffic Director of the Central Sulawesi Police, Kombes Dodi Darjanto, since Sunday (27/8).
A total of 1,023 personnel were deployed to several location points in the implementation of a security rehearsal involving personnel from the Central Sulawesi Regional Police and the Palu Police for two days.
The security ceremony, said Djoko, was carried out to ensure that the personnel involved in securing President Jokowi's visit to the capital city of Central Sulawesi according to the location and tasks that must be carried out later.

In securing President Jokowi's visit, it also involved elements from the Indonesian National Army (TNI), the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), and the Transportation Service.
President Jokowi is scheduled to visit Tadulako University with the agenda of opening the 13th Mahasabha of the Central Sulawesi Hindu Dharma Indonesia Student Association (KMHDI), Wednesday (30/8).
