Tangerang Satpol PP Act On Persons Burning Garbage Carelessly
TANGERANG - The Tangerang City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) deployed a pollution control task force to patrol to take firm action against individuals who burn garbage carelessly with a fine of Rp. 50 million.
"We have deployed officers to patrol and receive all public reports to be followed up immediately," said Tangerang City Satpol PP Head Wawan Fauzi in Tangerang Saturday.
According to him, Tangerang Mayor Arief R Wismansyah issued a circular regarding waste management containing four points, including prohibited from burning garbage that was not in accordance with technical requirements.
VOIR éGALEMENT:
It is forbidden to throw away, accumulate, and store animal waste or carcasses on roads, green routes, parks, rivers, canals, public facilities and other similar places.
In addition, it is prohibited to dispose of garbage and / or other dirt from the top of the vehicle and prohibited from throwing garbage outside the designated disposal site or location.
The fine imposed on violators is a criminal threat in the form of imprisonment for a maximum of six months or a fine of Rp. 50 million for each individual.
Wawan added that the Pollution Control Task Force was the officer who was deployed to supervise the Gakum Sector, which included PPNS investigators.
"This rule cannot be underestimated in the midst of the current air conditions. We must understand together, and we obey or enforce it for air repairs," he said.
He also opened a complaint service if it was found that violated the regulation. The complaint service community can be done offline by coming directly to the Community Service Unit Room at the Tangerang City Satpol PP Office.
