Fulfill Health Services, Putussibau Hospital In West Kalimantan Needs 250 Blood Bags In A Month
KALBAR - Ahmad Diponegoro Putussibau Hospital in West Kalimantan (West Kalimantan) requires at least 200-250 bags of blood in a month to fulfill public health services.
"Currently only 100 to 150 bags and that is not optimal, hopefully with the blood donation the community will dare to donate blood," said Director of RSUD Ahmad Diponegoro Putussibau Dr. Herlina during the opening of the mass blood donation at her office, Kapuas Hulu, West Kalimantan, Wednesday, August 23, which was confiscated by Antara.
Herlina said that the blood donation activity held at the Putussibau Hospital was aimed at mobilizing the public to dare to donate blood for humanitarian action. Because the Putussibau Hospital requires a lot of blood in the medical treatment of patients being treated.
He hopes that in the future more people will donate blood and increase humanitarian awareness to help others who need blood donations.
To note, the mass blood donation at the Putussibau Hospital was organized by the hospital in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Kapuas Hulu Regency.

Deputy Regent of Kapuas Hulu Wahyudi Hidayat who also serves as Chairman of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) said that blood donation was a form of concern for others who needed blood assistance while undergoing medical treatment at the hospital.
Therefore, it is hoped that many people will be moved to donate blood.
"Apart from charity, blood donation also cares about saving others in medical treatment, because one drop of blood is very useful for helping others," said Wahyudi.
He also invited all government and private and vertical agencies to donate blood as a form of concern for others.
"Donating blood is also for our health, besides helping others, we can also make our bodies healthy and also as deeds of worship," he said.
