Bad Air Quality, Acting Governor Of Banten Proposes Artificial Rain To BNPB
TANGERANG - Acting Governor of Banten, Al Muktabar has proposed artificial rain to the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) and the central government to see the air quality considered the second worst in Indonesia.
"We have submitted it to BNPB and the central government. We are waiting to see if it can be done to make artificial rain," said the Muktabar in his statement, Wednesday, August 22.
The congress assesses that the rain will neutralize the air pollution that surrounds the city of Tangerang. Because the air quality index based on IQ Air data reaches 170.
"If it is possible that there are things that need financing aspects, we have BTT (Unexpected Biaya) financing, so that we can contribute to matters that are emergency in nature," he concluded.
