Ministry Of PPPA Letter To Youtube Regarding Cartoons Allegedly Smelling LGBT

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) immediately sent a letter to Youtube to remind children of content that is not worth watching, following a video showing children's cartoons with LGBT.

"It has been submitted to YouTube, yes, it hasn't been written yet, just conveyed it in WA (WhatsApp message). Now, we will write a letter to Youtube to (remind of) these shows," said Acting Deputy for Child Rights Fulfillment of the Ministry of PPPA Rini Handayani as reported by ANTARA, Monday, August 21.

So far, said Rini Handayani, Youtube has worked well together in dealing with children's inappropriate content.

According to him, there must be a quick response to content like this because it endangers children.

"Well, we really have to respond quickly to things that endanger children," said Rini Handayani.

Previously there was a video of a children's cartoon on Youtube Kids showing a child with two fathers.

The show is a production of Moonbug which also produces child content such as Blippi and Cocomelon.

This broadcast went viral on social media and was commented on by many netizens. The majority of netizens objected to the child's cartoon video.
