Launching Digital Management System, Ministry Of Finance Cuts Business Processes 60 Percent

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) is said to have created a contemporary work ecosystem through the launch of the Office Travel Electronic System (e-Perjadin).

Head of the Communication and Information Services Bureau of the Ministry of Finance Deni Surjantoro said this strategy was a step to transform the state financial management business process based on regulatory reform and the application of modern information technology.

"This system focuses on the achievement of output and outcomes that are targeted to be increased in the implementation of these tasks," he said as reported by the official website, Monday, August 21.

According to Deni, the implementer of official travel will also receive confirmation of the commitment to provide down payment for planned official travel and payment for official travel costs will be completed no later than two weeks for unplanned official travel.

"Implementors of official travel also do not need to request a wet signature of the authorized official at the destination on the official travel certificate," he said.

On the same occasion, Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance Heru Pambudi said that e-Perjadi was also said to support mass transfer electronically and optimize Government Credit Cards as non-cash payment instruments.

He said, e-Perjadin also produces financial accountability simplification in which files and evidence of expenditure are presented in electronic form with a centralized database.

"The launch of e-Perjadin is a transformation of the state financial management business process based on regulatory reform and the application of the latest information technology," said Heru.

For information, e-Perjadin is developed using a centralized database, multiuser, multiunit work, and multi-unit work.

e-Perjadin is interconnecting with SAKTI, technology companies, marketplaces, online travel agents, airlines, hotel and banking networks. Thus, e-Perjadin is ready to be implemented.

"The full implementation of e-Perjadin will result in the impact of simplification of business processes of up to 60 percent cutting the average payment time from 26 days to 10 days, and relaxing working hours to 80 percent," added Heru.

Furthermore, e-Perjadin also supports improving the implementation of the state's budget and cash management through more efficient liquidity management, more effective cash planning, and the availability of retail databases for government spending analysis.

In addition, based on analytic data, e-Perjadin also provides insight and early warning to official travel activities, including information technology-based audit support (e-audit) and track records recorded on the system.
