IDX Market Capitalization Depleted, Out Of Zone Rp10,000 Trillion
JAKARTA - The market capitalization value (market cap) of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the past week has been out of the zone of IDR 10,000 trillion.
Based on trading data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period from July 31 to August 4, 2023, market capitalization on the IDX fell 0.55 percent to Rp9,967 trillion from Rp10,022 trillion in the previous week.
During this week, the average daily transaction value jumped 15.63 percent to Rp11.63 trillion from Rp10.05 trillion. The average daily transaction volume also rose 37.29 percent to 22.5 billion shares from 16.39 billion shares.

However, the average daily transaction frequency fell 11.55 percent to 11.55 percent to 1,139,039 transactions from 1,287,785 transactions last week. Meanwhile, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) this week fell 0.69 percent at the level of 6,852.84 from the level of 6,900.23 in the previous week.
In trading Friday, August 4, foreign investors recorded net sell transactions of IDR 469.08 billion. However, throughout the year, foreign investors still posted net buy transactions worth IDR 23.35 trillion.
