Bank Muamalat Collaborates with Pos Indonesia in Transactional Cooperation to the Hajj Ecosystem
JAKARTA – PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk cooperates with PT Pos Indonesia to work together in the scope of transactional services, sharia financing, investment, and the Hajj and Umrah ecosystem.
Main Director of Bank Muamalat Indra Falatehan said, Bank Muamalat and Pos Indonesia are business partners who have been working together for a long time.
Through this new synergy, the two companies are expected to be able to optimize their business potential, especially in terms of service diversification and market expansion.
"Bank Muamalat and Pos Indonesia already have a long history of business partnerships. Therefore, we are optimistic that this latest initiative will bring benefits to both parties and can increase the penetration of Islamic financial services in Indonesia," he said in a statement to the media, Tuesday, August 1.
Through this collaboration, continued Indra, Bank Muamalat customers will be able to deposit and withdraw cash through service offices owned by Pos Indonesia throughout the country.
The two companies will also work together in utilizing financial services related to raising and distributing funds.
Indra explained, Pos Indonesia would become a partner of Bank Muamalat in distributing financing to Bank Muamalat customers through Pospay and Pospay Kiosk Syariah.
In addition, customers of the first Islamic bank in Indonesia can also make payment of Islamic financing installments through the Post and Pospay offices.
In terms of investment, this collaboration will also act as a sub-agent of Bank Muamalat in distributing State Sharia Securities (SBSN) which opens opportunities for customers to invest with optimal profit potential and in accordance with sharia principles.

As for Hajj and Umrah ecosystem services, Bank Muamalat customers can open accounts, make haj/umrah savings deposits, register hajj portions and monitor the progress of hajj portions through the Pos Indonesia and Pospay networks.
