Denza D9 DM-i, MPV Premium Plug-In Hybrid Competitors Toyota Alphard And Vellfire
Toyota has recently brought updates to its Premium MPV lineup, namely All New Alphard and All New Velfire, with various refreshes and improvements, from design to features.
Not only that, but All New Alphard and Velfire are also available in environmentally friendly hybrid engine technology. Both models are electrification vehicles from Toyota. This presence also motivates Chinese manufacturer Denza not to miss the release of MPV Premium based on hybrid engines.
Denza D9 DM-i is one of the Premium MPVs from China that carries Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) technology. In addition to an innovative system, in terms of exterior design, this car has similarities with the latest models Alphard and Vellfire.
Grill this car adopts a pattern that is almost similar to Toyota's MPV Premium model. In fact, the position of the air intake on the front bumper is also made exactly like Alphard and Vellfire.
However, there is a slight difference in the front light configuration. D9 DM-i has a slightly sharp lamp pattern on both sides, while Alphard and Vellfire are made neater and eleganter which follow the flow from the grip.
Reporting from Carnewschina on Sunday, July 30, this MPV has a length dimension of 5,290 mm, a width of 1,960 mm, and a height of 1,920 mm with a wheelbase of 3,110 mm.
The interior is also made luxurious with an LCD display on a 10.25-inch panel instrument and a 15.6-inch central control screen. The steering wheel is also designed with a double-spoke and is equipped with a multifunction control button on either side of the cross.
This MPV has a capacity of seven seats with a layout of 2+2+3. Denza D9 DM-i offers a large space with a baggage capacity of 410 liters which can be increased to 2,310 liters if the back seat is folded.
With PHEV technology, Denza D9 DM-i has a 136 dk-powered 1.5T engine and 231 Nm torque and a 227 dk electric motor and a 340 Nm peak torque. This car comes in two driving variants, namely two wheels (2WD) and four wheels (4WD).
The latest D9 DM-i Denza can cover a distance from pure power up to 98 km. Although the battery capacity has not been disclosed, this MPV is compatible with 45 kW of fast charging and 6 kW of chargers.

Currently, there is no information regarding the price for this latest model. However, it is estimated that the price will not be much different from the previous model, namely between 335,500 to 445,800 yuan or around Rp. 712.8 million to Rp. 946.4 million.
The confirmation from the General Manager of Denza, Zhao Changjiang, revealed that the Toyota Alphard clone will be launched in the form of an exclusive model on August 5.
