Developers Can Now Start Perfecting Their Application For Apple Vision Pro Headsets
JAKARTA - Ahead of its official market launch, Apple has begun to open access tools for developers to be able to perfect their application in the company's new headset, dubbed Vision Pro Developer Kit.
Last month, Apple stated that developers could apply for their Kit Developer to test its app before the launch of Vision Pro in early 2024.
The company requires a catalog of applications created for headsets with unique capabilities. Therefore, now Apple has allowed selected developers to use actual hardware to create and perfect the app.
However, Apple only loaned Vision Pro Developer Kit to developers to prepare their app on the App Store, and they had to return it after the headset was launched.
Apple representatives will also contact developers and offer code reviews to software creators and companies that have access to hardware.
Later, developers will be asked what they created and what Apple tools they have used in the past, and they must sign a confidentiality agreement.

The agreement includes provisions requiring the device to remain at its delivery destination address, unusable in public, and others.
In fact, family and friends are not allowed to access, view, or handle hardware. Apple also prohibits public discussions about hardware directly or on social media, as quoted by CNBC International, Wednesday, July 26.
The tech giant has the right to look at the list of staff authorized to work on devices. Vision Pro's own headset is priced at around Rp53 million, which is claimed to be equipped with a powerful double M2 chip and a new R1 chip.
