Costing Around IDR 300 Billion, Construction Of 7th Bridge In The Martapura River Banjarmasin Starting This Year
The construction of the 7th bridge in the Martapura River, to connect from Jalan Pramuka Banjarmasin Timur to the Gampa River area, North Banjarmasin, the process began this year. The Mayor of Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, H Ibnu Sina stated this in Banjarmasin, Saturday, the process of building the bridge began this year with land acquisition for both sides of the bridge. He revealed that the Banjarmasin City Government has budgeted around Rp. 30 billion for land acquisition for the construction of the bridge in 2023. "We are optimistic that this year's land acquisition will be completed, both from the side of Jalan Pramuka and on the opposite side of the Gampa River," he said. According to Ibnu Sina, the construction of the 7th bridge in the Martapura River is very much needed, in addition to breaking congestion, it also opens new access to city development. He said that the physical construction of the bridge, which is estimated to cost around Rp. 300 billion, is scheduled to start in 2024. Ibnu Sina said, if the complete leadership period is 5 years or until 2026, the construction of the bridge can be carried out in a multi-year period or multi-years for three years. "Because there is a Pilkada in 2024, the construction can be multi-years from 2024-2025, of course with the help of the central government," he said again, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, July 22. He also said that the construction of this bridge ranges from 200 meters wide of the Martapura River in the region, to very large costs.

In addition to the bridge in the area, the Banjarmasin City Government also plans to build a suspension bridge in the Martapura River from the Jingah River in North Banjarmasin to the Bilu River, Central Banjarmasin.
