Sejoli's Action To Throw Away Baby Results From A Relationship Outside A Marriage Recorded By CCTV, Easy To Catch
JAKARTA - The Cakung Police Criminal Investigation Unit succeeded in arresting a couple who had the heart to throw away their newborn baby at Pagi Market, Kayu Tinggi, Cakung, East Jakarta. Luckily, the perpetrator's actions were caught on CCTV cameras, making it easier for the police to make disclosures.
Kapolsek Cakung, Kompol Syarifah Chaira told reporters, Thursday, July 20, that the two perpetrators, namely LA (21) and CB (21) are still dating, not married.
"They (the two perpetrators) are not married, still dating. The perpetrator is 21 years old, both male and female. They are not working yet," said Cakung Police Chief, Kompol Syarifah Chaira to reporters, Thursday, July 20.
Syarifah also explained that when the perpetrator threw away the baby, CCTV was caught in the Jalan Kayu Tinggi area, Cakung District, East Jakarta on Wednesday, July 19.
"The arrest was related to the discovery of a healthy baby in the Cakung Timur neighborhood. Then the police searched the existing CCTV," he said.
The two lovers threw away their newborns using their car. The perpetrator, who was previously pregnant, first gave birth to the baby in the boarding room.

"(The baby) was born in a women's boarding house. The perpetrator (disposal of the baby) used the car and his identity was known by the police," he said.
Meanwhile, for further investigation, the case was transferred to the East Jakarta Metro Police PPA Unit.
"The process will be handled by the East Jakarta Police Renata (PPA), we only help with initial disclosures regarding the perpetrators of the vehicle used by the two people to dispose of babies in the East Cakung area," he said.
Currently, the case of dumping the baby has been transferred to the East Jakarta Metro Police for further processing.
