Unidentified Male Found Floating In River Behind Restaurant In Kendari
Police found the body of an unidentified muscular man floating in the river behind a restaurant on Jalan ZA Sugianto, Kambu District, Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra).
Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Sat Reskrim) of the Kendari Police, AKP Fitrayadi, said that the whereabouts of the body was first discovered by a resident.
"It is true that today the body of an unidentified man has been found on Jalan ZA Sugianto," said Fitrayadi in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, Wednesday, July 19, which was confiscated by Antara.
He explained that the unidentified corpse had other characteristics in the form of a round face, small round nose, and a height of about 175 centimeters.
"Also having a heavy chin, round ears, black hair, and having uneven teeth," explained Fitrayadi.
He mentioned that there were other characteristics that the victim had, namely that the victim had a knife, had a thin mustache, used black shorts with the words Most, red Maskuling underwear, and thick legs and arms.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kendari Police explained that according to the testimony of a witness named Iswayudin (45), he saw the corpse while fishing around the crime scene (TKP).
"The witness said that when he was about to fish behind the Sarapo Restaurant or when the witness lowered his fishing rod, he suddenly saw the body of a man passing by by by the current," said Fitrayadi.
When he saw this, he continued, the witness then asked local residents for help to report the matter to the police.
"While the corpse was still carried away by the current, then the residents managed to stop the corpse which was carried away by the current beside the Kendari City Hospital," said Fitrayadi.
The former Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Konawe Police said that after receiving the report on the discovery of the body, his party immediately went to and secured the crime scene, and looked for witnesses, and took the body to the Bhayangkara Kendari Hospital to conduct an examination of the body.
"We have not been able to convey the cause of death because no medical examination has been carried out on the corpse," he said.
