Kedes Oenaek In Kupang Use Village Funds To Feed 18 Stunting Children Rp300 Thousand Per Month
NTT - The Oenaek Village Government in Kupang Barat District has allocated part of village funds to support additional food delivery activities (PMT) for 18 stunting sufferers, each Rp300 thousand per month.
Deputy Regent of Kupang Jerry Manafe appreciated the actions of the Oenaek Village Government. This was conveyed by him after monitoring the handling of stunting in West Kupang District, Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Tuesday, July 18.
"Thank you to the Oenaek Village government for being able to reduce the stunting rate and the number of stunting children in Oenaek Village is the lowest in West Kupang District," he said.
Jerry hopes that the Oenaek Village government will consistently allocate a budget of 20 percent of village funds to support PMT activities for 18 stunting sufferers.
According to him, the handling of stunting carried out by the Oenak Village government has been very good by allocating village funds of Rp. 300,000/month for each stunting child in supporting the provision of additional food (PMT).
"We hope that through the pattern of approach carried out by the Oenaek Village government, the number of stunted children in August 2023 will decrease by 0 percent," said Jerry.

Jerry Manafe said that the provision of additional food that is served every morning and afternoon for five days within three months can help fulfill the nutrition of stunting children.
"If the provision of additional food is carried out properly, the health condition of stunting children will be better," said Jerry Manafe, who is also the Head of the Kupang Regency Stunting Reduction Handling Team (TPPS).
He also hopes that the Oenaek Village Government and its people will continue to maintain stunting rates so as not to increase by taking serious attention to children's nutritional intake.
