Sales Of Astra Daihatsu Motorcycles In The First Semester Of 2023 Reach 102 Thousand Units, Three Top Models Become Primadona
JAKARTA - The retail sales of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) increased 12.9 percent in the first half of 2023 when compared to the same period last year.
If in the first half of 2022 ADM sold 90 thousand units, this time they managed to record retail sales of 102 thousand units.
In terms of volume and model contributions, Daihatsu retail sales during the first semester of 2023 were dominated by the top three models, namely Sigra with 32,532 units or contributing around 31.7 percent, followed by Gran Max PU (Pick Up) with 21,712 units (21.2 percent), and Terios with 13,795 units (13.5 percent).
Furthermore, Ayla occupied 12,102 units (11.8 percent), Xenia as many as 11,177 units (10.9 percent), Gran Max MB as many as 6,122 units (6 percent), Rocky as many as 3,322 units (3.2 percent) and Sirion and Luxio 1,753 units (1.7 percent).
Marketing and Customer Relations Division Head of PT Astra International Daihatsu Sales Operation, Hendrayadi Lastiyoso said, his party is grateful that in the first half of 2023, Daihatsu retail sales will still achieve positive achievements.
"We are grateful that the number is more than 102 thousand units, or an increase of 12.9 percent compared to the same period last year," he said, as reported by Antara, Sunday, July 16.
Referring to this achievement, Daihatsu's retail sales contribution to the national automotive retail share market amounted to 20.4 percent.
"Hopefully this good achievement can continue in the next semester, and this year's automotive market can be better than the previous year," said Hendrayadi.
