Ministry Of PUPR Rehabilitation Of 02 State Elementary School Infrastructure Amban Manokwari
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing has renovated the 02 Amban Elementary School (SD) infrastructure, Manokwari, West Papua.
Secretary General Mohammad Zainal Fatah advised the West Papua Regional Settlement Infrastructure Center (BPPW) to pay attention to the details of construction work, so that the new school building can be comfortable used by students for learning activities.
"Always remind the implementing contractors to do their work neatly and immediately fulfill the completeness of the required classroom infrastructure, especially chairs and student study tables," said Zainal Fatah in a written statement, quoted on Saturday, July 15.
SD Negeri 02 Amban is one of 15 schools in West Papua that are being rehabilitated and renovated by the Ministry of PUPR through the West Papua Regional Settlement Infrastructure Center (BPPW).
Meanwhile, Director General of Human Settlements Diana Kusumastuti said, after the construction is completed, it is hoped that the local community will be able to carry out management and maintenance.
"So, what we are building can be sustainable, useful, and not stalled," he said.
The scope of the work itself includes the construction of 3 new classrooms (7x8 m2), toilets (4 daughters, 2 daughters, 1 disability), water towers (2,000 liters capacity), ceremonial fields, access roads (43.2 m), and garden pots (8 units).
