Sandiaga Sasar Millennials Meet The Target Of 11 Million Votes For PPP
Chairman of the Election Winning Body (Bappilu) of the United Development Party (PPP) Sandiaga Uno said he was targeting voters from the millennial generation to meet the target of winning 11 million votes in the 2024 election.
Sandiaga assessed that based on KPU data, 50 percent of voters are the millennial generation and generation Z, so that PPP is believed to be able to win 40-50 seats at the DPR and DPRD levels from the 11 million votes.
"This is what we have to focus on PPP'relate', PPP is very connected to young people, with offers to accelerate development that focus on the economic side," Sandiaga said when met at the Jakarta Presidential Palace complex, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, July 13.
Sandiaga emphasized that he will focus on accelerating development in achieving millennial generation votes, especially since the level of public trust in the Joko Widodo government is above 80 percent.
In addition, PPP is preparing a strategy by offering innovations amid global geopolitical challenges and economic slowdowns, including high inflation.
"This requires an economic solution. I will focus on opening job opportunities and maintaining supply so that the prices of basic commodities for people's living expenses are affordable and controlled," he said.
