Kunker A Week, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin Arrives In Timika Papua
TIMIKA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin arrived in Timika City, Central Papua, to start a series of working visits for a week in Papua until Monday (17/7).
The vice president arrived at Mozes Kilangin International Airport, Timika, at around 18.08 WIT, after taking a flight for almost a total of six hours from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta.
In the midst of a special plane flight, the Boeing 737-400 which took the Vice President to transit first at the Sultan Hasanuddin Air Force Base, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi, for approximately 30 minutes to refuel.
After that, the Vice President and his limited entourage then continued the same plane flight to Timika
The arrival of the Vice President at Mozes Kilangin International Airport, Timika, was welcomed by the Acting Governor of Central Papua and members of the Central Papua Province Regional Leadership Coordination Forum. The weather in Timika when the Vice President arrived was observed to have quite heavy rain.

During a working visit to Central Papua, the Vice President is scheduled to carry out activities in Timika and Nabire.
On Wednesday (12/7) in Timika, the Vice President will symbolically hand over the membership of the Social Security Administration Agency (BPJS) to the Indigenous Papuans (OAP), as well as review the operation of cataracts and cleft lip in Timika.
Furthermore, Thursday (13/7), the Vice President is scheduled to visit Nabire to lay the first stone and plant trees as a sign of determining the location for the construction of the Central Papua Provincial Government Office and having a dialogue with Central Papuan Farmers who are members of the Real Farmers' Life (Hipeta).
Spokesperson for Vice President Masduki Baidlowi previously conveyed the Vice President's working visit to Tanah Papua, to ensure that development in Papua can run according to plan.
Overall, during the week in Papua, the Vice President will visit three provinces, namely Central Papua, West Papua and Southwest Papua. The Vice President's working visit to Papua will end in Sorong, Southwest Papua, Monday (17/7) before leaving for Jakarta.
