FPI Asks Police To Immediately Set Al Zaytun Panji Gumilang Islamic Boarding School Leaders As Suspects And Detained
JAKARTA - Chairman of the FPI DPP (Chairman of the Islamic Brotherhood Front) of the API division (Advocate of Islamic Brotherhood), Aziz Yanuar asked the National Police to immediately determine the status of the suspect to the head of the Al-Zaytun Panji Gumilang Islamic boarding school as soon as possible.
"Wait, let alone the Police? The suspect is and detained (Panji Gumilang). So that there will be no more noise," Aziz told VOI, Tuesday, July 4.
Aziz said that there had been a statement of attitude from the West Java MUI to be used as a guideline.
"The National Police should not wait any longer for the alleged blasphemy which is clearly clear. Moreover, from the West Java MUI there has been a statement of attitude," he said.
As is known, in this case, Panji Gumilang was reported by two different parties regarding the alleged blasphemy. The report was filed by the Central Leadership Council of the Pancasila Defenders Advocate Forum (DPP FAPP) against Panji Gumilang, on Friday, June 23, and Ken Setiawan NICC Center, Tuesday, June 27.
Meanwhile, the head of the Al Zaytun Islamic Boarding School, Panji Gumilang, stated that the handling of the alleged blasphemy case involving him had not been completed.
The statement was made when answering questions about his readiness if he was named a suspect.

"Don't talk about being ready or not. The business is not finished yet," Panji told reporters, Monday, June 3, evening.
Panji also briefly said that the process he was undergoing was still in the clarification stage of the report received by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. Therefore, Panji Gumilang was reluctant to comment further on the alleged blasphemy case.
"It's not there yet," said Panji.
Panji Gumilang was examined as a reported case in the alleged blasphemy case for 9 hours. He was asked about 30 questions.
