Eid Holiday, 10 Thousand Compact Visitors TMII

Around 10 thousand visitors packed the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) tourist attraction in Ceger Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta, during the long holiday of Eid al-Adha 1444 Hijriah today.

"Based on incoming data, the number of visitors to TMII this Friday is around 10 thousand people," said TMII Public Relations Novera Mayang Sari as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, June 30.

According to him, visitors come with their families to spend time enjoying various educational rides at TMII.

They enjoy educational rides on various platforms provided by each local government to see collections of animals in bird parks and reptiles.

Not only that, TMII also offers a variety of exciting activities that visitors can do to spend this long holiday.

Mayang said, during the school holidays,TMII prepared various traditional Indonesian games that can be played free of charge by children, such as eggrang, dakon (congklak), tug of war, mountain treads, rubber jumps, kites, gundu (kelereng) and others.

All of these games raised the theme "Kumpul Boy" which took place from 15 June to 15 July 2023.

"This is expected to provide a pleasant and educational experience for children during school holidays," he said.

In addition, it is also possible for adults who want to feel childhood memories again, play and feel happiness with friends or family.

TMII management wants to provide a different experience for children during school holidays.

"So, forget about gadgets and schoolworks, let the children enjoy their children's days happily. Let's kids be kids," said TMII President Director Claudia Ingkiriwang in a written statement.

Claudia hopes that children can learn about Indonesian culture and become part of the culture itself through traditional games that can be played by children for free as well as dance performances prepared.

The wide and green TMII area is also suitable for those who want to picnic with their families or just sit back and forth with friends to breathe fresh air.

For those who want to exercise, he said, there is also a special bicycle lane and a "jogging track" around the archive lake.

Visitors who want to feel the sensation of becoming a pilot can try out the aircraft simulator available at the TMII Transportation Museum.

"This aircraft simulator will provide a thrilling experience and test visitors' skills as pilots," he said.
