The National Police's Food Task Force Ensures That The Stock Of Eggs Is Safe During Eid Al-Adha
JAKARTA - The National Police's Food Task Force monitors the availability and price of eggs and chilies in a number of markets ahead of Eid al-Adha 1444 Hijri which falls on June 29, 2023. The availability of the two staples is still sufficient.
"Another stock of availability is currently still meeting the needs of the community in facing religious holidays," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Nurul Azizah to reporters in his statement, Tuesday, June 20.
Currently, the price of eggs at the farmer-level production center in the Blitar Regency area reaches IDR 25,500 to IDR 26,000 per kilogram. The price is influenced by various factors, one of which is the cost of production.
"Currently, the price of chicken eggs is influenced by the production and operational costs of chicken egg breeders," he said.

Meanwhile, the price of red chili in some areas is still below the national average reference price. Because, it has passed the main harvest period.
From the results of monitoring, the cayenne pepper in early June 2023 was at a price of Rp44,780 per kilogram or still below the reference price of Rp57,000 per kilogram.
Then, the current price of curly red chili is IDR 39,037 per kilogram or still below the reference price of IDR 55,000 per kilogram.
"Meanwhile, red chilies in several areas have passed the main harvest period," said Nurul.
