South Sulawesi Provincial Government Continues Reconstruction Of North Rantepao Torajat Section
MAKASSAR - The South Sulawesi Provincial Government has again carried out a follow-up reconstruction of the Rantepao - Sa'dan - Batusinton section, North Toraja along 2 km which was carried out in stages.
"Alhamdulillah, the reconstruction of the Rantepao - Sa'dan - Batusink road connecting Luwu North Toraja is being progress by the Office of Highways and Construction Development of South Sulawesi Province," said South Sulawesi Governor Andi Sudirman Sulaiman in Makassar as reported by ANTARA, Monday, June 12.
Handling this road is one of the priorities to be handled in stages. It is known, in 2022 the construction of the 5.4 km segment will be completed 100 percent for two development work packages with a total contract value of Rp29.5 billion
"Given that this section will open access in isolated areas. At the same time it is an alternative route from Luwu to Toraja other than the existing route," he said.
Andi also asked for community support so that the work stage could run smoothly.

Previously, the Office of Highways and Construction Development of South Sulawesi was also handling the reconstruction of the Boro - Jeneponto section road in Jeneponto Regency.
The handling of this section is one of the priorities of the Governor of South Sulawesi, Andi Sudirman Sulaiman to be handled in stages.
Given that this route is an alternative access that connects the Gowa Regency Region, Bantaeng Regency and Jeneponto Regency without going through the National road.
