Monday 12 June BUMN Joint Recruitment Exam Begins, Ministry Of SOEs Reminds Participants To Follow Online Test Guidelines

JAKARTA - Deputy for Human Resources and IT of the Ministry of SOEs Tedi Bharata reminded the participants of the 2023 BUMN Joint Recruitment (RBB) test to follow all technical instructions so as not to fail in the exam conducted through digital platforms.

Furthermore, Tedi admitted that this appeal was important to remind participants to avoid failure because of technical matters.

"Like the equipment used and other related things," said Tedi Bharata in a written statement, Sunday, June 11.

As is known, the 2023 RBB test starts Monday, June 12 to June 20. In detail, on June 12-19 for graduates of D3,S1 / D4,S2 and on June 20 for high school graduates.

Referring to the existing data, the interest of the 2023 RBB test participants was extraordinary. Around 2 million people registered to take the test, but 800,000 people passed the administrative requirements and were invited to take the test online.

To the participants, said Tedi, his party had sent an email regarding the stages and technical instructions for the BUMN recruitment test. A similar announcement was also uploaded on a number of social media accounts managed by the Indonesian Human Capital Forum (FHCI) as the RBB organizer.

One of the requirements is that participants are required to use a PC or laptop computer equipped with a camera and mouse when taking an online exam. Participants cannot use their cellphone, tablet, or smartphone because they do not match the existing system.

Tedi admitted that he was watching the complaints of a prospective participant on a social media platform. In the video uploaded on the platform, the account owner complains that his exam time is tight with Friday prayers.

Responding to this, Tedi said it happened because the participants used cell phones so that not all features went well.

The person concerned has also admitted that he took the test using a cellphone and did not read in detail the technical instructions. This is something that needs to be avoided," said Tedi.

The test, which was taken last Friday, said Tedi, was a trial, not a real test. The trial is intended so that participants have time to prepare for the reliability of the device and internet network when taking the real test.

Because of the trial, the test is not mandatory and does not affect the assessment. In terms of duration, said Tedi, the trial test is a maximum of 30 minutes, but it can be faster if the participant can answer the question before the time ends. In the video, the account user admits that he is using a smartphone. In the dialogue with fellow users on the platform, the person concerned admits his misunderstanding.

Tedi reiterated that according to the test requirements, PC/laptops and cameras on PC/laptop computers must be turned on during the exam. Otherwise, participants will automatically fall.

Furthermore. Tedi also reminded participants to avoid any form of fraud and prioritize morals when participating in the online test stages. This is because fraudsters will be blacklisted so that they will no longer be able to take part in BUMN recruitment in the years to come. This has been applied to participants who did fraudulent practices during last year's BUMN recruitment test.

To detect fraudulent practices, said Tedi, his party has maximized the protection system. Illustrations that are considered fraudulent practices include jockeying and opening of tabs, windows, or other pages on devices used during the test.

After the test work is complete, participants will get a pop up notification of the test results that have been done as a form of transparency.

Tedi also emphasized that BUMN recruitment was free of charge. Therefore, Tedi warned participants to be aware of fraudulent attempts in the name of RBB 2023, FHCI, or the Ministry of SOEs. Official information regarding RBB can be accessed through the official website of RBB 2023 and the FHCI social media channel.

"Please, if there is input from the community, we will make it an evaluation material so that the implementation of RBB will be even better," said Tedi.
