Government Launches INSW 2.0 To Improve National Logistics And Competitiveness Efficiency
JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, announced that the government has launched the Indonesia National Single Window (INSW) 2.0 system with the aim of increasing efficiency in the logistics system to strengthen national competitiveness.
Airlangga Hartarto believes that strengthening this INSW will help maintain Indonesia's trade performance, both in terms of imports and exports.
"I give appreciation and appreciation to all those involved in reforming and transforming public services, especially through an electronically integrated National System and Portal," Airlangga said in a statement received in Jakarta on Saturday.
Institutional strengthening of INSW has also shown a significant increase in performance. For example, the dwelling time in 2017 was still around 4.06 days and continued to increase to 2.84 days in 2022.
Furthermore, Airlangga said that this shows significant improvement in the logistics sector. The INSW system is expected to continue to be able to realize harmonization and synchronization, simplification and standardization.
Meanwhile, INSW is a system that functions to facilitate the simplification of export and import trade procedures, integration of business processes, increasing supervision of the Minerba PNBP, to implementing the Special Economic Zone (KEK) application system.
The development of INSW is dynamic, and adapts to the demands of national needs, as well as developments in international trade and logistics practices.

Symplification of business processes is carried out based on risk management through business process automation. Meanwhile, related to standardization, business processes need to pay attention to SOPs and procedures currently implemented so that they are in line with international standards used in the international trade process.
"The development of the INSW system is not only about building the Single Window system, but also needs to pay attention to the trajectory mandated by the ASEAN Single Window (ASW) Agreement and Protocol," said Airlangga, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, June 10.
In the harmonization and synchronization process, INSW needs to focus on aligning so that the system and procedures run well, and avoid overlapping with other K/L policies.
