Penerimaan Bea Keluar Amblas Tergerus Harga CPO Yang Lebih Ladai
JAKARTA - The government through the Ministry of Finance reported that until April 2023 state revenues originating from exit duties (BK) had decreased by 71.6 percent year on year (yoy).
Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani said, until last month the collected BK was IDR 4.2 trillion.
"This result is much lower than the same period the previous year of Rp. 14.5 trillion," he told reporters earlier this week.
The Minister of Finance explained that there are a number of factors that affect state revenues in terms of exit duties. Meanwhile, one of the most influential is the fluctuation in the price of palm oil, aka crude palm oil (CPO).
"The performance of outgoing duties has decreased due to the price of CPO which has been moderated and the derivative of the volume of mineral commodity exports," he said.
The Minister of Finance revealed that the CPO reference price last month was around 932 US dollars per metric ton. That level is up from March 2023 which amounted to 911 US dollars per metric ton.
"But this price is much lower than April 2022 which amounted to 1,787 US dollars per metric ton," he said.
