West Papua West Sabubar Health Center Health Officer Found Dead Wearing

WASIOR - Wondama Bay Resort Police, West Papua, investigated the case of AR's death, a health worker who works at the Sabubar Health Center, Wamesa District.

AR's body was found on the beach on its stomach on one of the small islands, near Kampung Sabubar, on Tuesday, May 23.

Teluk Wondama Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Hari Sutanto, said his staff was still conducting an investigation to determine the cause of AR's death.

"If you look at the photos, it is almost certain because they drowned because their condition swelled. However, we will investigate whether the person concerned is sick or not, then in the boat with whom, we will investigate first," said Hari, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 24.

When found, the body of the 40-year-old man was already swollen.

Based on reports from the family, AR has not returned home since Saturday, May 20. The family was assisted by residents and then conducted a search.

"What was found was only a boat, the person was not there, so the family reported it to the police," explained the Police Chief.

Teluk Wondama Police just received a report about AR not returning home since last Saturday on Tuesday, May 23. A similar report also came from Basarnas.

"We just wanted to check, last night the police chief (Kapolsek Windesi) also received a report that the medical officer had just been found on Purup Island, is already in a dead position," said Hari.

AR's body was buried by his family on Wednesday morning.

The police chief added that the officers from the Windesi Police were already in the field to conduct an in-depth investigation and investigation while waiting for the crime scene to be processed.

"It has been buried, the family refused to do an autopsy, maybe because the condition (is no longer possible)," said the Police Chief.
