The 7th Floor Of The Menteng Police Dormitory Caught Fire

The fire incident was reported on the 7th floor of the Menteng Police dormitory building, Jalan Sutan Syahrir No 1, Gondangdia Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, May 23.

The incident was reported to have occurred on Tuesday afternoon at around 13.42 WIB. A total of 4 fire engines were deployed to the location of the Menteng Police Dormitory to extinguish the fire.

A total of 20 firefighters were deployed to the scene.

"Reports from residents, the object (burned) of a tall building on the 7th floor of the Menteng Police dormitory," quoted from a report received by VOI.

Meanwhile, the Menteng Metro Police Chief, AKBP Samian, did not know for sure the information about the fire.

"We will check it again, we will confirm it first. We will confirm what the cause will be," he briefly told VOI, Tuesday, May 23.
