Dewa United Continues To 'Wash The Warehouse'
JAKARTA - Dewa United continues to wash the warehouse. After releasing 13 players, the other three followed being released from the team.
Now Dewa United has officially released Fahmi Al Ayyubi, Bhudiar Riza and Achmad Faris ahead of the 2023/24 Indonesian League 1 competition. Dewa United CEO Ardian Satya Negara said this decision was the result of communication with the coaching team.
"Faris, Bhudiar, and Fahmi officially released after communicating with the coaching team. But even so, we will not forget the contribution of the three of them while with us," explained Ardian.
Previously Dewa United had released 13 players. They are Karim Rossi, Lucas Ramos, Frendi Saputra, Suhandi, Sugeng Efendi, Syaiful, Mukhti Alhaq, Rishadi Fauzi, Jajang Sukmara, Dias Angga Putra, Miftah Anwar Sani and Gufroni Al Ma'ruf.
Dewa United not only released a number of players, several players were rewarded with a new contract from team management. One of them is the left back, Nasir.
Ardian explained that the decision to keep Nasir was quite impressed by the coaching team with the ability of the 27-year-old player.
"The coaching team is quite impressed with Nasir's performance, especially towards the end of last season. The progress shown by Nasir is also quite positive," explained Ardian.
"Nasir sendiri juga menyambut baik tawaran dari kami untuk bertahan dan menyatakan siap untuk terus berjuang bersama tim ini," sambungnya.
Apart from Nasir, Dewa United has previously maintained five other players for next season's competitions, namely Muhammad Nathsir, Asep Berlian, Ichsan Kurniawan and Theo Filo Numberi.
