DKI Provincial Government Invites Shopping Centers To Offices To Discuss Distribution Of Working Hours To Reduce Traffic Jams

JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono invites shopping centers to offices to discuss effective working hours arrangements to overcome congestion problems in DKI Jakarta.

"We talk to the private sector, the central government, offices around Thamrin, we chat. We also talk to the building associations, malls," said Heru at DKI Jakarta City Hall as reported by ANTARA, Friday, May 19.

The meeting will be held in a group discussion format that will be held at the Borobudur Hotel. However, Heru did not specify when the discussion would take place.

Heru hopes that through the discussion it can produce the right decision to distribute working hours to reduce congestion in DKI Jakarta.

Previously, Heru Budi Hartono said that working with the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) was discussing arrangements for office working hours in Jakarta to reduce congestion.

"Again, it is discussed through a discussion group forum with the Transportation Service. I have asked the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency to compile, including the figures and activists," said Heru at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta.

Heru explained that his party already has the concept of employee entry hours which can be divided into two sessions, namely 08.00 WIB and 10.00 WIB.

"The entry of each building must be half, at 8.00 WIB with 10.00 WIB," continued Heru.

According to Heru, the distribution of the employee's entry hours can make it easier for employees to take their children to school first.

"It (the employees) came from the house at 6.00 WIB and the school children first, at 7.00 WIB he (goed) to the office at 8.00 WIB," said Heru.
