Community And Religious Leaders In Okbab Help Free Four Papuan KKB Hostages
JAKARTA - Community leaders and religious leaders in Okbab, Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua Mountains, helped free the four people held hostage by the Papuan KKB.
Papua Police Chief Inspector General Pol Mathius Fakhiri as quoted by Antara in Merauke, Saturday (13/5) explained that after the figures took an approach, they were handed over.
The four hostages handed over were Asmar and Fery who were employees of PT. Inti Bangun Sejahtera (IBS), Pepas Kulkayang are staff of Okbab District, and Senus Lepitalemwarga, Borme District.
Two of the four injured hostages, namely Asmar and Fery, were immediately taken to the Okbab Health Center for treatment.
Initially, three PT IBS workers were accompanied by the Head of the Information and Communication Office of the Bintang Mountains Regency, Alverus Sanuari, Pepes Kulka (Staf of Okbab District), and Senus Lepitalem, a resident of Borme District, Friday (12/5), departed from Oksibil to Okbab District using an Elang Air plane related to the construction of the BTS tower.
Arriving at the Okbab Airport, suddenly a member of the KKB was approached who was carrying a sharp weapon and committing violence against them.
